The Transformation

Tin Shed, which once served as a narrow warehouse in the 19th century, was transformed by Raffaello Rosselli Architect (RRA). The firm followed their ethos of sustainability while converting the space, ensuring the building's gravity and past were not lost with the changes. Here’s the impressive rundown of the transformation: - Saving the structure's façade of weathered tin sheets, braving a century of sun and rain. - Adding a pitched roof, exuding old-world charm contrasting with its modern interior. - Including a contemporary kitchen and dining, separating the living spaces in the house with large sliding doors for a more intimate setting. - Introducing a modern two-story addition at the back, housing two bedrooms.
